Because there is not a whole scene of, I know in their high school that my kids have gone to, there is like a no PDA.
There are not couples that are allowed to be there holding hands or doing whatever, being involved with each other.
Doesn't mean there are not couples.
They're just not supposed to be publicly displaying affection.
But one of the things that that has freed them up to is to have friends who
that you're not in a constant soap opera drama with breaking up with him and backstabbing her and getting, you know, like they actually have very healthy friendships with other young people.
One of the big things, and this for sure is in the book, is friendship, side-to-side friendship, working together is far and away the most productive friendship, but it is also the most healthy friendship.

Lewis, the book The Four Loves Friends.
Well, it's a great book.
So one of the things he says in there talking about friendship is that those who are going nowhere can have no fellow travelers.
Any friendship that is we're going to go sit together and just stare at each other and talk and unburden.
It's not going anywhere.
Yes.
And except for to possible friends.
explosions or difficulties.
It's not there's no directionality.
So a big thing that I would encourage and I think has come pretty naturally to my daughters has just been having friendships that are cultivated through doing things, you know, like you're working on something together or you enjoy the same thing.
So this is how we and I have that.
