like follow-up calls with folks that they had rejected because they wanted to learn about them and kind of keep them in their orbit.
And I mean, look, we can't all do that.
They're very special people.
But as much as you can communicate with people, you know, at the very least just saying, you know, you can close this door for yourself now instead of keeping it open, imagining it, waiting, checking the inbox, waiting for the email.
Just taking that one thing off of someone's plate at the very least, I think, is a kindness.
I mean, this is just considered like standard practice.
So many, I think now more people are demanding better.
But for so many years, especially in creative fields, it's like put together a deck, like put together a campaign.
Like they are doing their job.
They are doing what they are paid to do, but for free and for no guarantee of any outcome.
Get together with other people who are looking for work.
And this doesn't have to be because you want them to give you a referral through someone they know.
It's just to feel like you can do this.
You can just sit next to each other on your laptops and apply for jobs together.
And it's so much better than doing it by yourself.
