Okay, so it's a little bit of a backhanded compliment.
Okay, fine.
But I got to say, he's absolutely right.
I don't think there is any question that the secret from the Knicks going from down 2-1 in the first round to this rocket ship to the NBA Finals
is they've completely changed their offense.
And you don't see that that often in the playoffs.
They moved Carl, he goes to the top of the key now, and he distributes.
First of all, that gets him more involved.
They've also added more running and cutting with the other guys on the court.
That gets them more involved.
So instead of everyone just sort of standing around, maybe he'll get a shot.
Maybe I won't get a shot.
They're all involved.
There's more ball movement.
And that means that everybody is more engaged, not just Cat.
Everyone is more engaged when they go play defense.
So we've seen it.
It's a winning formula.
They trampled the East.
Is it going to be the key, though, for them really being competitive or even winning the NBA finals because you're playing against different defenses?
