Madison remained in the car while Rowan left her body inside the home.
When Rowan returned to the car, he told her that he either put her inside or under a dresser in the home.
After they returned back to the trap house, the two got high and fell asleep for a while.
But that same night, they were informed by their roommate that the other friend, Chad, had turned Colton over to his sister, Keona, who then called CPS.
Of course, Rowan knew that CPS would likely be following up with him, so he panicked and started packing his bags.
He told Madison that they were leaving that night.
Then that night, Rowan and Madison left to head to Colorado.
She then said that after Rowan's arrest, Madison told Rowan's mom everything.
She told her that Rowan killed Oakley and had left.
So Rowan and Madison left to head to Colorado and stayed at the hotel where he was later apprehended.
She told officers that after Rowan's arrest, Madison called Rowan's mom and told her everything.
She told her that Rowan killed Oakley and that they had left.
She said that his mother said that Rowan had just gotten out of prison and was not letting Madison put him back.
So at some point in all of this, Rowan's brother and sister-in-law picked her up from Colorado and brought her back to Indianapolis.
There, the mother helped Madison get a new phone telling her not to turn it on until she got on the bus and left the state so that I guess police wouldn't be able to locate her until she was out of Indiana.
The mother also paid for her bus ticket.
She told Madison that she could go anywhere she wanted as long as she didn't return to Indiana.
This was information that the mother straight up denied in her interviews.
Again, they both admitted to helping Madison, but the mother said that she didn't know what happened to Oakley and didn't know where she was.
I will note that officers did question her after learning this information from Madison and asked her to take a polygraph test to confirm the information she had already told them.
