After Gemma's all settled into her new apartment, she throws a housewarming party. And a few people at her housewarming party know both her and Ruth. There wasn't any structural damage, but the fire department had to be called to put the fire out and most of Darcy and Duncan's belongings were drenched and all of the water soaked through to the plant shop on the ground level, which caused a massive loss of inventory.
