Where I always think so many people save now and put their extra repayments in offset knowing that they're going to be doing different things.
So I always look at the mortgage take at the offset off.
Yeah, and that bigger mortgage, when it's substantially bigger, you really need to recalibrate and understand how your budget looks with a bigger mortgage before you start to think about other things.
If that's your primary goal is upsizing and out of everything that looks like the primary goal, that's a substantially bigger mortgage.
So let's have a look at how that feels first.
And if you need to have goals, I would definitely set up a separate offset account and give yourself goals each time of what you want to actually put away.
