We have a lot of momentum building on Treasure Island.

The city, in partnership with our master developer, has delivered nearly 1,000 new market rate and affordable homes on Treasure Island and Yerba Buena Islands and another 250 affordable units currently in development.

Last year, Treasure Island saw the opening of a brand-new waterfront park, cityside park, and the groundbreaking of a new training center for Bay FC, the Bay Area National Women's Soccer League team.

We're already going to quadruple the amount of housing that we've built in years to come.

I want to thank the Treasure Island Development Authority, TIDA, and the Controllers Office of Public Finance for all of their work

Good afternoon, supervisors.

My name is Jamie Karubin, Chief Operating Officer of the Treasure Island Development Authority, or TIDA.

Today I'll be presenting on items 42 through 46 together, which collectively, as the supervisor mentioned, adds property to the Treasure Island Infrastructure Revitalization Financing District, or what we refer to as the Treasure Island IRFD.

The first two items, a resolution to approve the annexation and a resolution to call for a special election, are up for approval today.

and the subsequent three items, a resolution to declare the election results, an ordinance to approve the addition of new property into the IRFD and approve the annexation supplement to the infrastructure financing plan, and a resolution to modify the original resolution to issue bonds for the IRFD will be heard today pursuant to legal procedures required

is a required step in the process to legally add property into the Treasure Island IRFD.

California IRFD state law dictates a process to add properties to an IRFD, which requires a multi-step legislative process at the Board of Supervisors acting as a city's governing body to the IRFD.

Slide 3 shows the prior actions that the Board of Supervisors and the GAO Committee have taken since June of this year, including the Board's approval of a resolution of intention to add property into the IRFD and

update the infrastructure financing plan, and a resolution of intention to issue bonds in connection to the annexation of this property.

Slide 4 outlines the items before you today, as well as subsequent actions the board is scheduled to hear and adopt through early October.
