I'm Ron Flynn, Deputy General Manager of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission.
The planning commission staff
have worked closely with the SFPUC over the last several years on the environmental impact report for the proposed PGE power asset acquisition project.
I want to thank the planning staff for their great work and their hard work which led the commission's led to the Commission's certification of the final EIR.
San Francisco is lucky to have such dedicated and talented public servants.
I also want to thank staff at the SFPUC and the city attorney's office for their extensive work.
On the EAR.
Simply put, San Francisco adopts the presentation from the Planning Commission and supports the Planning Commission's recommendation to reject the appeal of the certification of the FEIR.
Certification is an important milestone for this project and will allow the city to continue to pursue the acquisition.
I respectfully request the board affirm the Planning Commission certification of the FEIR.

Um as I explained earlier, it was my view that PGE is a bad faith actor abusing CEQA with this appeal, and nothing I've learned in this hearing um changes that perspective.
On the merits of the appeal, I'm convinced that it's baseless.
