Item 23 authorizes the issuance and sale of $83.5 million in aggregate principal amount of one or more series of bonds on a tax-exempt or taxable basis of city and county general obligation bonds for health and recovery 2020
Series 2026B, to approve the forms of the official notice of sale and notice of intention to sell bonds and to direct the publication of the notice of intention to sell bonds, to approve the form of the purchase contract, approve the form of the preliminary official statement and the execution of the official statement relating to the sale of such bonds, to approve the form of the continuing disclosure certificate.

This ordinance de-appropriates approximately 43.5 million in geobond proceeds from 2020 Health and Recovery Geobonds Series 2025G from the Department of Public Health and appropriates approximately 83.5 million of geobond proceeds from 2020 Health and Recovery Geobonds Series 2026B to the Department of Public Health and Recreation and Park Department
in fiscal year 2026 through 2027, and to place the approximate 83.5 million in series 26B proceeds on controller's reserve pending receipt of bond proceeds.
