But after reading your piece, it sounds like there were just communication gaps all the way down the chain.
Is that what you learned in gathering the information for your story?
Well, I think too, Jamal, is that we saw how the one decision to draft Patrick Williams and then how it just kept defeating the Bulls.
They don't trade for three years in a row with a deadline.
They were the only team in the league to have done that during that stretch.
They decide out of almost spite to come up with a number that made them feel better when they re-signed him.
And then they don't even give Josh Giddey an offer sheet either.
They don't even try.
At these points, they're just deciding on their own what they thought they should do to justify their decisions.
