You know, Mario, I think it's important to note here, and you bring it up in a very clear way, but the Bears have no shortage of options here.
In Hammond, they get the most money and perhaps the biggest blank canvas to do what they want.
If you don't want to pay property tax, the mayor has suggested a way to not pay property tax.
And if you want to go with your original plan, you still don't have a hard no on whether or not Arlington Heights would be viable.
You just have a the pilot bill didn't pass.
And I know the governor is frustrated about that.
And I know they are, too.
But hopefully some framework of a law gets done to where that would happen because we need it in this state as well.
So you still have all your options.
And you're right.
Until we hear from the bears themselves who need our help, whether or not they want to admit it, then they're going to have to figure out a way to make that happen.

Which has not actually—they haven't raised enough money from the hotel taxes, and we've had to cover the space.
I don't even, I think at this point, I used to think that it was, it was the legislature calling the Bears bluff, but essentially everyone is.
