They were in a competitive race to be the education governor.

Two things I just told you before we got on.

I was talking about going to Linda Baines Johnson.

If you go back and look at the stuff, while we know him, remember him for, obviously, the war on poverty, the Great Society, but what he wanted to be remembered as was the education government.

That's what he wanted to be remembered for.

It's probably of one subject...

passed more individual bills in the education column than anything else.

Yeah.

But I think here's the thing, and then you-

This is also what I care about.

Passion of mine.

I happen to think it's what the public cares about.

I'm going to, as I said, I went to Mississippi, laid out an elementary.

Well, two things.

One is I've been following the debates on other topics.

But when Louisiana, Tennessee, and Alabama replicated and see similar gains, this was not a one-trick pony.

So this was clearly they had figured it out.
