would get a lot out of the book, but at the same time, I mean you have

Uh it's this it's this really fascinating tension of of breadth and depth.

And it's usually one or the other, right?

So it's such that, you know, an expert in the field such as myself, and obviously if you're an expert in in in Hinduism or or or some textual tradition or the epics or you know, there'll be tons

uh uh in the Vedic material that I have to defer to one of my colleagues or email and ask about something from the Rig Veda, for example, or the historicity of the Rig Veda.

uh what little we know of it or or whatever the case may be or or or Russia theory.

So for me there's there's

A lot in here that just you know

clicks in my brain 'cause you you've absorbed it over, you know, years of of study.

And there's stuff where I can easily go to a section that I may not be so

sharp with at the moment and sort of um recall or even deepen my knowledge for the Lapis.

So so that's sort of what I'm getting.

There's this real tension between depth and breadth, which makes this useful for the armchair Indian philosopher and in certain ways even folks I think who are um advanced in their study of Indian philosophy, would you say?

Well you you get uh I mean the expression of, you know, losing sight of the forest with the trees, uh i in my personal experience that's also common the case for many scholars who are just

they're splitting hair really, really well, but they they they're not quite in in my view uh able to convey a sense of where the hair sits on the head or the braid that it's part of and the forest.

And you get both the trees and the forest here, right?

So it's

It's fascinating.
