So whatever our plans, if at all, independently build that 35-acre plan, 35-acre park, basically, how we can make it happen outside of related development, basically, because that's our land, not related land.
They agreed to give us, I think, $5 million or something for it, but ultimately the city has to develop it based on that.
Use of technology.
How we can implement the use of technology to book, having access to all the community centers or even the restrooms throughout the city.
We are lacking that implementation of that technology and that hampers or sometimes it's not even convenient for residents to make use of the facilities.
We talked about parks under our jurisdiction, and there are parks which are to be maintained by the private landlords, basically, within their jurisdiction.
And some of those parks, I know in my district, I've already spoken to the city manager on that.
they are not in a good shape.
They are not maintained at all, almost nothing maintained for those parks.
So I want park and rec department to make sure we enforce the development agreements or whatever permitting we did.
And those parks were mandated by the city, by the private landlord, but they have to be maintained.
So anything we can do on priority to maintain those parks, that would be great.
And even open to discussion like public-private partnerships for maintaining those parks so that residents can use it.
That would be wonderful.
And I am a little bit concerned about not being able to use the 35 acres for multi, multi years down the line.
And that is in our plans.
So putting that thing into our plans without
having an indefinite period of time when we don't even know when that will come up, that's a little bit disturbing.
During this time, we did have a transition of staff in the city manager's office who had to come up to speed to support
I have a couple of questions, like tagging on to what Council Member Park was mentioning, how are we collaborating with Chamber of Commerce, Central Chamber of Commerce, so that we can synergize the activities with the same goal, basically, supporting the local businesses and bringing in more business.
