If at that time resident say, oh, we want this, we can always say, no, you cannot have this.

So there's no question of, we got into the substance of it, and now that substance became, oh, I will not vote for that because of that substance.

That's not fair.

We are assuming the substance of that.

Thank you city manager for the planning of the process and where we are trying to land upon that.

So my first suggestion is, I think we had this process going on very early in the year, my earlier sessions when I started on the council.

And I would like this to start in early January.

Sometime in the January, it should finish it off.

The reason that I'm asking for that is because even if a new council member get elected in the December, they can participate and they can throw in their priorities, whatever they are.

And staff that we get ample time to plan for the year.

And if it is, you know, we have a mid-year budget transition, 26, 27, or 25, 26, they can plan accordingly for that budget.

So that's one time I would suggest that we fix the timeline.

Don't keep it like fluctuating.

We can fix the timeline that, okay, every year we will have a council priority session in January.
