I live in Santa Clara and San Jose with sometimes my grandmother and sometimes different family members.

I represent the community service organization and we urge the city of Santa Clara to pass a strong policy that publicly protects our immigrant communities and prohibits our local law enforcement from cooperating with ICE.

And it heartbreaks me knowing that the council members have not decided to speak on this matter.

My foster parent, my foster dad was actually an immigrant and him being a foster parent helped him get his legal status.
