And um, you know, the the the change now over the last fifteen years, twenty years has been like that some of these renewable technologies have gone really good.

And uh just kept com the improvements have just uh compounded over time.

And like if you look at solar, for example, like I'm very happy that I have solar in my house, you know, these days.

You know, because uh you know, you w when the energy price spikes, you you want to have that kind of you know uh independence.

And uh you also want to be just um you know, if there's a power cut somewhere else, you want to be able to, you know, kind of uh be self reliant.

And uh I feel like even though there have been there's there's just natural waves because of oil price and maybe uh politics.

as well, but uh some of these tech the the actual fundamental technologies keep getting better.

Um, you know, s the renewable uh you know, even nuclear, right?

Which I know Imad you've invested in, you know, is just getting better, right?

And so there's there's long term trends in that area.

And and and what I like about your approach, David, you've taken a very sensible approach to like you know, like this uh investing uh in like you know, very uh like sort of things that are more kind of impervious to like the cycles, right?

Um and so you're kind of like accounted for the cycles and and you learn from the past basically.

And and also one of the things in the past, if you look at think of the Vinod Kostla era, right, of the t twenty two thousands, late two thousands.

It it was basically um they put a ton of capital in these companies.

And like when you put a ton of capital, you put a lot of pressure on these companies to like succeed.

Um and uh you know, nowadays I think the style of company building for even deep tech companies is like make money.
