We all lost a little bit our direction, especially also me.

It was very important, I think, this first time in my entire managing career that I was really this successful.

It was, for me, a very, very important period and I learned a lot.

But when I look back, it was a very, very difficult situation moment because we lost 9-0 and then we played twice against Man City away.

And in the same year to have such a turnaround, I was always speaking about normally you don't get the chance as a coach to have this turnaround.

the next manager gets the chance not you and i did i did get the chance and therefore i was very thankful and my team and and we together uh yeah found the way back to be successful just because it's what i do i'm really interested those post-match interviews so you've said whatever you've said to your players you've lost nine nil the mood's obviously terrible

I think we have always very important moments when we step in front of the camera because the message we bring is always very, very impactful for everybody when we say something and that we have to know all the time.

I received a SMS from Alex Ferguson.

I didn't know him before and maybe if I've never lost 9-0, I would never have contact with him.

So it was a positive thing of this result I think.

And it was really helping me and it was giving me a lift also because you as a manager you're also down and try to find something you can handle on.

But in the end, I will have to live with this result my whole life.

But when you have the re-game one-to-one, then the end of the story is a good one.

And finally, it can help you to become a more experienced manager anyway.
