The places where we see AI become truly super intelligent

are these formal domains that we think about as highly verifiable.

So the first things that AI beat us at were games.

Why was AI machine learning models able to get so good at chess or the game of Go?

Well, you can play an infinite number of games against yourself.

So you have no limit on how much data you produce to train on.

And two, you know instantly, with 100% reliability, this was the right answer, this was the wrong answer.

Did I win the game or lose the game?

There are very, very few domains like that.

Domains that are like that, formal math.

So we're going to see AI actually help

the world's top mathematicians solve math problems.

And coding is kind of like that.
