These are cricketers who've performed so well for Pakistan over the years, but they've been booted out um uh un unceremoniously.
Uh so I don't know what'll happen to the psyche of the team and to the psyche of the ex cricketers.
Who would want another job?
Uh with Pakistan cricket team if they're not going to be respected.

No, it's not the holy grail anymore, unfortunately.
Um you still get a lot of audience for test cricket, but it's just that if you're not winning, obviously there'll not be a lot of takers.
And so uh the game is struggling in in five day format.
And unfortunately, I I don't know.
I mean, you know, I am old school, but uh heroes are made through T twenty performances and not through test performances.
Uh but when you come over to England, for example.
Or to Australia, to South Africa, whether you still get full house because then you realize where you are and why it is so important to continue persisting with test format.
And i i everybody has to buy in into this uh psyche that if you want to become a great cricketer, then it has to be test cricket.
But unfortunately, it's not the case in Pakistan anymore.
I think they can, provided there is stability, uh provided there is confidence, and provided they're respected.
Uh it's not going to be a simple route, it's going to be a tough one.
But as long as you think that test cricket is the way to go to win back fans and to win back respect, then I think there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Well, they do not have a long term plan.
That is the reason why you see these knee-jerk reactions.
