I think there are four of us at this point and I would be very surprised if the bill at least is not modified in a good direction.
Look, I want to vote for it.
I'm for the tax cuts.
I've voted for the tax cuts before.
I want the tax cuts to be permanent.
But at the same time, I don't want to raise the debt ceiling five trillion.
So I've told them if you take the debt ceiling off the bill, in all likelihood I can vote for what the agreement is on the rest of the bill and it doesn't have to be
The GOP will own the debt once they vote for this.
Somebody has to stand up and yell the Emperor has no clothes and everybody's falling in lockstep on this.
Pass the big beautiful bill.

Well, conservatives do need to stand up and have their voice heard.
This is uh a problem we've been facing for decades now, and if we don't stand up on it, I I I really fear the direction the country is going.
If they send the army into New York and you have ten thousand troops marching carrying semi automatic weapons, I think it's a terrible image and I will oppose that.
But it's not that I oppose removing people.
I just uh right object to what has been against the law for over a hundred years and that's using the army.
I don't think it's the best way to do it.
It's it's uh less clear whether that's legal or ill or illegal.
Typically it has to be done at the behest of the governors.
I still don't like a militarization of police whether it's not
