Or I'm willing to take the pain now for the better promise of tomorrow.
Like that's that's the thing that makes religion scary.

Where I'm like, he didn't even promise you a better.
He said he would fix it day one.
We're far past day one.
Oh, my God.
And you're now saying there's a promised land past this moment where things are going the opposite of how he said that'll be even better than when he just wasn't in office.

How did the Big Beautiful Bill pass?
The thing about restricting votes, it's like maybe they've done the math on this and they figured out that like all these people not being able to vote makes us come out on top.
And I obviously there's always the thing of like targeting like.
minorities and sometimes women as well in general like that's one of the critiques of the save act is is the whole um your id won't match your birth certificate because you got married and you changed your name so like if you change your name it's going to make it really hard to get the type of identification you need to um be able to register to vote and everything and my thing though is that
I think a lot of these things, maybe they're not worried about this, but I think a lot of these tactics dismiss or at least underestimate poor white people.
and like poor white people who are voting Republican.
I just, I do not see a world where, like I grew up in Louisiana.
And so there are a lot of people where no matter what sort of like segregation you try to,
you tried to implement throughout the state, whether it's like in the school system or just in the sort of makeup of of neighborhoods.
