And now he's got to defend himself and tell the world that he didn't do it.
Ladies and gentlemen, let this man go mourn privately.
Don't try to convict him of something he didn't do.
He is a victim, absolutely.
He lost his wife.
He lost not just his wife, his partner of 20-something years, his boating partner, his world partner, his life partner.
He is absolutely a victim.
Until he's found guilty of murder, he's not guilty of anything, right?
He's innocent until proven guilty, and he certainly has suffered a loss.
That's all they need is to pass the threshold.
And in the law, they're allowed to ask for the death penalty because it's on public transportation.
But the sympathetic factor, nobody wants this guy around.
They're gonna get a good shot at the death penalty.
All they needed was the avenue to get in.
They've got it because it's public transportation that authorizes death penalty ask.
Well, that's the reason for the death penalty.
You want to find the cases where a death penalty is really going to have a chilling effect.
Hopefully it's going to scare other people.
But the problem is, Nancy, nobody's going to not kill somebody because they might get death instead of life in prison.
To me, it should be death penalty because jury wants it.
