I'm so excited to be here.

So I taught elementary school.

So I taught first grade, second grade, and I also was a math interventionist, which means I helped students who need extra help with math.

So I knew for a while that it was time to make a move.

If you talk to any teacher, they say, they all say the same thing.

Like I've been feeling it for some time, but what really lit the fire under me was right before COVID started.

I just was like, I really feel like it's time for me to go.

It's time for me to just change my career and just make the jump.

And I even told my principal that before COVID and then COVID happened and, you know, life changed completely.

So I waited a whole nother year.

So the pros were, OK, more flexibility.

I had a son now.

I had my own child.

And I was like, you know, I won't have to be exhausted when I get home from teaching other children all day.

So I have more time for my own son.

No lesson planning or grading or substitute.

So the little nitty gritty of teaching.
