So I still apply that law even if someone says, yeah, I'm a sinner.
So let's see how bad you are because they don't think they're worthy of hell.
See, our problem, this is an analogy I use, and I use it even with non-Christians.
See, you're walking along the street, and you see a wooden building, two-story, and you see the smoke coming out of the basement, and then you see flames looking up, and you look a second story.
You know there's a guy in there.
He's a night shift worker, and he's going to be asleep right now.
So you take a stone, throw it at the window.
He comes to the window and says, what are you doing?
I says, your house is on fire.
He says, no, it's not.
Go away.
I'll call the police if you keep this up.
And he slams the window closed.
What are you going to do?
You're going to say, oh, burn then, buddy, and walk off?
No, this is a test of your character.
You're going to throw rocks at that window.
You're going to bang on his door.
Why?
Because you want to awaken him to his danger.
