That's what happened on that cross.

That's why he said it is finished just before he died.

He was saying paid in full.

I said, if you're in court and you've got speeding fines and you admit your guilt, a judge will let you go if someone pays those fines.

He'll say, you're free to go.

Even though you're guilty, you're out of here because someone paid your fine and it's legal for him to let you go.

I say, God can legally take death off you because of what Jesus did on the cross and paying a fine rising from the dead.
