I said, you know what?

Because, you know, the hard stipple plastic on the inside of a door.

I said, sure, I can now bring this back to the lab and do the super glue fume that we use for hard surfaces.

And so I did.

Brought it back, glued it, and then did the fluorescent dye on it.

Quasar.

Bang.

Lovely big palm mark is suddenly on the surface where you'd rest your arm and rest your hand.

So, got it photographed.

put it into the system, up number one, came back number one.

All of a sudden, I had somebody identified.

Now, obviously, you don't know there and then that he is involved in the murder.

It could be somebody that has been fingerprinted for some reason, for some other job.

But when I contacted the investigation team, they knew straight away.

They didn't know he was involved in the actual initial parts of the murder, but they knew, oh, this is it.

This is one of the team.

And that was just luck.

So did you do that with every car afterwards, I wonder?

I didn't do too many cars after that.
