But I think David Brady made a fair point when he said,

Every team has a chance, but you have to have serious belief.

And you have to go out, and if enough players beat their guys individually, then they can win this whole island, most definitely.

But I just think, based on what we've seen over the last few years, it's difficult to make a case that there's nine or ten mayor players that will win their individual battles.

So it might go to 55 minutes or 60 minutes, but for me, even if the mayor turned up the heat, I think Kerry will be able to respond

And just a little bit of levity, Matt, I was coming up from a lovely swim there in Black Rock earlier, and I walked past this massive, beautiful Mayor flag, and I just walked back to see what was written on it, because, you know, you don't notice these things when you're playing, or maybe as an opposition supporter, but it says, Christ Lin, is what was on it.

Christ be with us.

And I'm not saying Mayor will need Christ to come down and help them, but I do think they will need the God smiling on them if they're going to win their first All-Ireland in 75 years.

Yeah, Paul was a bit of a once-off, Matt, if you can imagine James Dean or Steve McQueen playing Gaelic football.

He was just a really cool guy, a man of immense character and charisma.

And when you're with Paul, you knew things were probably going to be OK because he was a very, very talented player.

But sometimes he would be maybe behind the curve ball as regards publicity with Jeff Allen and Port Joyce and Michael Donlan.

But Paul was an immense player.

He won two All-Irelands and then obviously he won an All-Ireland club intermediate with his club, Mike Cullen.

And I think what set him apart a little bit, Matt, as well, is that he always knew who he was and where he was from.

He was always happy in his skin and he was a very authentic character.

Two years ago, I was on your show, actually, and I got a spin back with Paul.

We'd done a podcast with Colin Parkinson.

We had a great chat.

And one thing I remember from the chat he drove me home that night is he would always feel that his two greatest achievements weren't on Gaelic football, but his two fantastic children, Ellen, who's coming into our school next year into the Jazz, and Finn, who's going into sixth class.
