So she starts looking for ways that she can steal funds from her husband, Bob.
And eventually, one day, she gets that opportunity.
Because, see, Bob, he loves work.
Like, he loves doing his job.
But one thing he hates doing is taxes and paperwork.
He's kind of like me.
So he turns to Amy to help him out.
And she had previously taken some business administration classes at the local community college.
So Bob figures that she could probably handle the company's financial paperwork.
So he puts her in charge of all of it.
The company's finances, filing taxes, the bookkeeping, everything.
Once she gets in that position, her greedy ass starts f***ing it all up.
Like, instead of paying taxes on the company's behalf, she begins diverting the money right to herself.
Like, she'll write the checks to the IRS to make it look like the taxes have been paid, but she won't mail them.
Instead, she'll withdraw the money and keep it for herself.
And she doesn't just do this one time.
She does this over and over and over again.
And months go by.
And by this point, she's stolen about $100,000 from Bob's business.
And that's great and all, but here's the funny thing about the IRS.
