People pray there, but then also if someone is sick, if someone is dying, the priest takes the sacred oast, goes to them uh so that they can die with with uh our Lord with them uh on on their way from this life to the life which is to come, or that they can be strengthened when they're when they're uh weak.

There are seven sacraments as you know, but the the the sacrament, the most blessed sacrament as we call it, is the Holy Eucharist and the priesthood inseparably connected to it.

It is the body and blood of Christ.

That's why we treat the Eucharist with such great reverence.

If it were just a symbol and there are Christians not th who are not Catholic who think that the Eucharist is uh just a symbolic meal and so after the Eucharist uh they they just throw the hosts away that are not used, uh uh but uh

We could never do that because we believe

This is uh

the teaching the the word that was found

uh at the council of trent to express this

transubstantiation, that the very substance of the bread is changed into uh the body of Christ, Christ Himself coming to feed us.

And

the the accidents uh it looks like bread.

The but the the substance by the action of divine grace is the the body of Christ.

And the last supper was on a Friday?

It was on Thursday.
