Taco Bell voluntarily removed unspecified ingredients at select restaurants, but reports say there were some Detroit area restaurants posting signs that they said were unable to sell lettuce, cilantro, onions, pico de gallo, and guac.

Now health officials have said leafy lettuce is the leading suspect based on interviews with more than a thousand patients.
