I am going on another all-inclusive vacation real soon.

So we shall see.

Yeah, I'll see if I'll have a better experience.

But, you know, the most interesting part of this story for me is it's not just a travel story.

It's kind of like an anxiety story because when you think about taking vacation, when you think about planning a vacation, there's a lot of decisions that you have to make.

What hotel you're staying, how are you going to get there, how much, you know,

excursions are you going to spend for uh spend on and so these all-inclusive resorts and all-inclusive vacations basically eliminates all the psychological like thinking and friction that you have to go through beyond just the financial anxiety that you have to make um they they mentioned the decisions fatigue that you have like as you're planning these vacations and the more decisions that you're making you're just getting tired it's a lot of work

to go on vacation for your vacation.

And there's also a lot of work that you have to do when you come back from vacation.

There's that phrase of saying, you have to take a vacation from vacation.

But I think that's really important.

I think it's also interesting that there's a lot of people who are just saying, let me just pay this one lump sum and I don't have to think about it and I just want to enjoy myself.

Maybe not the best decision, but I get it because honestly, there's a kind of reframing of all-inclusive vacations.

Previously, it was kind of like a budget kind of approach where you pay for an all-inclusive, but you kind of get like the most basic kind of buffets and like experiences.

But the luxury trend is kind of heading toward that way.

For a luxury travel agency reports that bookings at top all-inclusive resorts have more than doubled since last year and that all-inclusive properties run about

$250 less per night than comparable European beach destinations.

But these are accommodations that include helicopter rides, sailboats.

They're really going all out in terms of the lavish experiences.
