Florida Attorney General James Uthmeyer says a criminal investigation is ongoing into sloth world's owners.

Two leading sloth scientists based in Costa Rica came to central Florida this week to meet with lawmakers and push for policy change following the news of dozens of animal deaths.

Rebecca Cliff with the Sloth Conservation Foundation says she's feeling inspired by the public support.

The Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens recently took in 13 animals from Soft World.

All arrived in poor condition and three have since died.
