Tips you would give for someone who's not used to hurricanes, major or minor.
and so i think the number one tip is for me is to have a reputable place to get your weather information from that's not necessarily just the internet meteorologists like justin like brandon and myself are used to all of the long-term forecast models showing a gfs a cane 10 days out and we know it's never going to happen so we don't put that information out there there are a lot of um
areas in especially on social media that are more about sensationalism and likes and clicks and that can make you very very anxious so having a trusted meteorologist that's not hyping anything up I think is my number one tip for if you're not used to hurricanes what about you Justin?
