It was a it was a great weekend, a lot of fun.

I think it starts where we were Pat in Baton Rouge with LSU.

Now we wondered what's it gonna look like.

Got Pete Thammel out of the courthouse finally, and then LSU comes out there and they look like a championship contender from the jump.

Great defense, whipped weeks, principal in sort of dominating things there for LSU.

But the one question I had is great as Sam.

Levett looked and he was outstanding running the football.

Ran for over a hundred yards in the first half, hundred yards plus in the game.

Will he be able to do that and is that what LSU has to do to be able to run the ball consistently?

I don't know if it is.

It's a weapon.

I know this.

They can extend plays.

They can pick up first downs when everything looks broken with him.

And that to me makes them look like a championship contender at the risk of overreacting the first week because Clemson might also just flat stink.

And it certainly looked like that at times.

Uh the other championship contender that I saw on the weekend, and maybe I'm just trying to make a preseason prediction come true.

Watching Notre Dame last night, and I know there are a lot of Notre Dame people probably worried about the early part of the game and thinking back, you know, half of Marcus Freeman's losses have come in August or September.

Here we go again.

Uh mediocre Wisconsin team.
