I I don't know if I can make any sense of it because I don't remember anything quite like this.
Now I've seen games where seconds have been added to the clock.
I I sort of chuckled in our meeting this morning when uh Nick Saban talked about if we ever seen anything, I immediately thought, Yeah, there was that whole kick six thing where you got the second at the end right before the attempted field goal, but it wasn't like this.
And
I understand everybody wants to get it right.
And I understand eighteen's foot was out of bounds and technically the clock is over when you know, when someone who's been out of bounds touches the ball.
But there are a couple of things here, Pat.
One, I feel like there ought to be a natural conclusion to a play that we get to before we start splitting hairs over a clock.
But even bigger than that.
We can't have some secret synchronized clock and cameras that nobody knows about.
There has to be one clock now and then present it to the television audience.
And in addition to that, and I think you brought this up in the meeting too.
Let's hear what if we're gonna get down to this kind of thing and super synchronized secret strobe sync clocks, I need to hear what everybody's talking about in real time when it happens.
So I need to hear, okay, hey, look, they're looking at this.
Let's go live to the command center for uh whatever officiating bodies running the show.
