But if Republicans feel like they can run this country like a dictatorship, then that's not going to bode well for us at all.
And to Clay's point, they've already been doing that.
If you look at what happened in Florida, remember how Ron DeSantis was arresting people for trying to vote, people who had a felony record, even though the law allows them to vote, or how he removed a duly elected official who was an attorney there.
Same thing happened in Texas where Greg Abbott removed elected officials.
We're seeing throughout the country where Republicans have already been
degrading citizenship and grabbing more power for themselves.
And the last example I'll use is Mississippi, where they're trying to take
annex part of Jackson from the black mayor or from Democratic control and put it with the state house.
And so Republicans have already been doing these things to grab more control away from what can be elected and influenced by the people and held within them so that they're not accountable to their constituents.

Like, they can go and punch air and laugh at whatever stupid jokes that they want to look at.
But there were a lot of people that did not take this past election seriously.
You had 10 million people who voted for Joe Biden who did not vote.
And they can say that, you know, maybe it's sexism, maybe it's racism, maybe they were mad at how they did Joe Biden.
You know, maybe it was Gaza, maybe it was a number of things.
But shit has hit the fan.

1.0, which, by the way, was bad.
