Ultimately, outside of the racial dynamics of it, we have to still get to the heart of the fact that a young boy, a young Black kid, a promising child who was heading off to college, was a star football player, did not have the most basic thing that we expect for our children to be able to have, which is be able to go out and come back home.

And there are people who almost have an attitude of he brought upon himself and there were people who were impugning his parents

So I think that it's, it's absolutely responsible and it's necessary to cover the race aspect of it, but we have to hold ourselves accountable as well for how people have attacked his family, for how people have almost act like he has brought it upon himself because he had the audacity to hang out with a bunch of white friends.

that is a a stain and i think that's an indictment on how some of people in our community have have acted to it so i think if we're gonna keep it real let's keep it all the way real yes there is there's there's you know there's ways that black people are not protected when they are the victims or when they go missing but we have to also talk about how within our own community sometimes there is dismissiveness and there is victim blaming because
there is a person who was hanging out or was associating with in any kind of way, people who were not an entirely Black group of people.
