Well, yeah, I mean, it worked because they they dumped a crap ton of money into those races.
I mean, those races typically in Indiana would cost two hundred and forty thousand dollars for all of the races in the entire cycle.
And yet they spent thirteen million dollars.
They had a massive grassroots race.
galvanization, where Turning Point USA and other organizations flooding the state and saying that these people are disloyal to Trump.
So it wasn't that the Trump-ries just happened to be, you know, I say that these people shall lose and that's what happened.
I mean, this was an absolute, to me, setting $14 million on fire to prove a point that you have to stick with Trump within the party.
But
I wrote a book on the 2022 midterms and it was called The Long and Short of It Guide to the 2022 Midterms Radical Republicans.
And what I found in that book now, obviously, I wrote it before the election results, is that those Trump back MAGA Republicans got their asses handed to them in 2022.
I mean, if you think about Kerry Lake, if you think about Mehmet Oz lost.
It was a few others that lost throughout Dan Mastriano.
And so, yes, if you have gerrymandered districts, yes, if you have completely red districts, then the MAGA Republican is going to win.
But statewide in the key places like Ohio and other places that are really competitive, North Carolina and Georgia, that is not going to fly in this electorate.
That's what I believe.
