The Republicans are kicking our asses in fundraising.
We don't see the grassroots funding.
And so this is what we have.
Republicans acting like this is a generational battle for the future of America and Democrats out to brunch.
I think you could do both.
Do the Met Gala and then give some money to Black Voters Matter.
Give some money to the ACLU.
Give some money to the League of Defense.
I'm just saying do both.
We ain't seeing both, though, because the money is money when it comes to our organization.
Professor Pope, one of the things that I've been talking about is what I consider national optimism in the markets, whether that's the stock market or the oil prices, where the oil prices fall when Donald Trump says, well, we might have a deal.
whatever the situation may be.
It's my assessment, and I want to hear your thoughts on this, that the oil prices have not had... I mean, there's been a big shock, obviously, but not to the extent that you would expect it to have by now because there is a degree of optimism that the Strait of Hormuz is going to be open anytime Donald Trump says we're close, then the prices drop again.
What do you think?
I mean, how much longer do you think people can maintain these investors and the speculators can maintain optimism that this is going to be a near term, you know, a near term resolution?
