So here's I guess kind of a cultish green flag, like making sure your employees get paid.
Absolutely bare minimum, but not even the bare minimum because they weren't getting paid on time.
You didn't set up the company for success to pay them in the first place.
And now you're manipulating them by saying that they should be so grateful, and by again, martyring yourself, making yourself look like the victim because you are taking all this money out of your pocket to pay your fucking employees, which is a basic requirement of employment.
In fact, that's actually one whole half of the transaction.
So
Yeah, it makes sense that all of their financials were kind of a mess, considering Pearson was running the business arm of Wondermind and was later accused of repeatedly inflating the venue investment and subscriber numbers for both the New Zet and her VC firm, Chasm.
Which I mean, obviously doesn't bode very well for her financial dealings as far as Wondermind goes.
All the while, while this is happening, the company is still kind of producing content.
They're failing on a bunch of projects, but they're starting a bunch of new ones at the same time.
