I think Shrek wedding was kind of peak Shrek culture.
For those who don't know, that was a wedding videos of which went viral on the internet wherein a couple got married painted green and in full Shrek and Fiona costume.
Seemingly the wedding was themed.
It was a shredding.
It was lovely.
It was much celebrated by all.
Amazing.
Alrighty, so moving forward, I kind of get like Star Wars vibes on like prequels versus sequels, like the first two versus the second two.
I'm wondering if there is any kind of us versus them dichotomy within the Shrek fandom.
Like is there any infighting or like generally what is the us versus them dichotomy that the Shrek fandom poses if there is one?
Yeah.
The dogma feels very wholesome to me.
Also, I think Shrek the musical is just evidence.
Like I think if there's a group of people that Shrek is for, it's like theater kids and like weird it it's very inclusive in that way.
It was my big in to Shrek culture and I'm very thankful for it.
Just to head back really quick, I'm very curious.
Like I said, I watched Shrek one this morning in preparation for this recording.
Shrek two, it has been a very long time since I've seen and honestly all I really remember is the Cunty Fairy Godmother.
Can we get some more background on what makes it such a feminist masterpiece?
