And this is the Sabbath day.

So we're out here on Shabbat demonstrating because prayer only leads to action.

And if it doesn't lead to action, prayer is useless.

Orthodox would say I'm breaking the Sabbath.

I'm liberal.

I'm reformed.

I believe that I'm honoring the Sabbath.

I actually met with a group of rabbis with Mamdani, and I was very impressed, and I thought it was very open.

I have some problems with some of his Israel stances, but we're not electing somebody to stand up for foreign affairs.

We're electing somebody to run the city and to do it in an honest way.

I'm very disappointed in Mayor Adams, for whom I voted.

Oh, I know that.

In fact, I've been in touch with some of them, and actually I've had some very good conversations with some leadership.

They pretty much came around to understand that why I would vote for Mamdani.

Did you convince them?

I don't know if I convinced them, but they came a long way.
