So I'd left broadcast journalism and I'd gone over um to work in development in New Zealand.

And yeah, I I didn't want to be a journalist anymore.

Yeah, I thought the profession was going through some big changes and it wasn't um what we kind of had grown up thinking journalism was gonna be.

And yeah, I just it it just was way more fun being in fake land with fake people.

And you know, like I it was s really hard being with people on the worst days of their lives as a journo.

You know, I was in some pretty

sticky situations with people and and then when you're just in in fictional land you're like, oh this is so much this is so much better.

This is so much nicer.

You know, ever all it's all fake.

There's no one actual emotions on the line.

And um, you know, I didn't feel like if if something didn't happen, you know, it's okay.

Like lives weren't um on the line.

Whereas like I felt like in my previous career as a journey it was, yeah, it was tough.

Mm.
