Podcast Appearances
If you hide the facts or you only allow them to see one side of the facts because it's way more compelling than the other, that's where you run into trouble.
If we can surface that for public health communicators-
Yeah.
Speaking of controversial podcast hosts, what are your feelings on Joe Rogan?
I know you've appeared on the program.
How did that happen?
Although traditional media is kind of weird about that.
Case in point, the Jubilee episode I mentioned with the vaccine conversation I had, it did really well.
The episode before it with Sam Sater and the episode after it, I forgot which one followed it, all got press because they were kind of politicized topics, I guess, to some degree.
But they did less viewership.
Ours got zero, not one rewrite, not one article, not one, like look at Dr. Zook.
And it was so foreign to me.
And I realized why.
I didn't start any arguments.
There were no tense exchanges.
It was peaceful.
It was empathetic.
It was kind.
No one wanted kindness.
No, I feel that where that's coming from.
