If you are looking for a life partner, then where does that fall in the scheme of things?
And especially if you want to be married, if you want to be in a long-term relationship, there are compromises that need to be made.
Relationships are about learning to
fit with each other, learning where, you know, you can't get your way all the time.
So where can you be a little more flexible and where do you really hold the line?
And for me, that was, is he a good guy?
Does he care about me?
Is he honest?
Is he loyal?
Does he even want to get married?
Does he want the kind of relationship that I want?
And that matters way more than where he takes you on that first date, I promise.
That is so true.
And I just thought of this and I really want to say guys who are always dressed to the nines, guys who know how to date, always say the right thing, know all the good restaurants around.
A lot of times they're all flash and no substance.
Those are the professional daters.
Those are the ones, oh yeah, they might want to impress you, but they're looking for a quick,
thing, not the long-term relationship.
You know, if dude takes you to Olive Garden and doesn't know how to dress really that great, you're not dealing with Mr. Slick ladies, man.
