I don't have the ability to raise money to, you know, withstand what APAC might do to me.
So I'm just not going to put myself out there.
Right.
Like you'll, you know, you'll hear like, this is not an issue, um, that I, I can fight for because, um,
because of the money that will come in to take me out of Congress.
And, you know, oftentimes we remind folks that they should poll their district, right?
If their constituents are with them as they have been with me, like they can withstand, you know, whatever dollars might come in, right?
Like my first primary in 2020 was the most expensive primary in the history of Congress.
I was outspent four to one.
But I won by 20 points because my constituents understood that what AIPAC and the Democratic majority for Israel, what they're advocating for is to take our dollars that we could be spending domestically, feeding children, making sure they have adequate education, making sure that housing is available to our veterans and folks who are homeless, making sure people have access to health care.
Those dollars that we are sending to kill innocent people and subjugate innocent people in Gaza and in Palestine, that money could be utilized by us because the Israelis have all of those things.
Right.
Like they have great education.
They have universal health care.
They have the resources for their people.
We are struggling domestically here economically, and we cannot afford to continuously give money to cause harm to the rest of the world when we're not addressing the harm that our people are experiencing here in this country.
Absolutely not.
I don't talk about the, you know, anything that has to do with Jewish persons or Jewish people.
Like, my problem is with...
the Israeli government and the way in which the occupation, the Nakba, the apartheid, the genocide, those are what I take issues with because those are things I understand.
