We're here now.
We can deploy and we're going to stick around for a while and maybe forever.
And we will, we as NATO will defend Greenland on behalf of Denmark.
And Denmark has its own troops there.
A very, very interesting and important thing happened.
Bottom line of this is we don't need to own Greenland.
This is not a real estate deal.
This is not where you're going to build a Trump hotel or whatever.
This is a fundamental international problem that Trump has created.
And the NATO countries, our allies, are showing that you don't, America, you don't need to own Greenland.
You don't need to be the only military there.
I think he sees it as the biggest real estate deal ever.
We're talking about millions of acres.
We're talking about perhaps resources of one sort or another.
Although last night talking to the representatives from Denmark, they say, in 2004, the United States companies came to us and wanted to explore for minerals.
And we said, fine, gave him the necessary permits.
No American company has since 2004 approached Denmark and Greenland for the exploration of minerals.
So clearly Trump's looking at this as some sort of a real estate deal where he can control the minerals, just as he has changed the narrative in Venezuela from one of drugs to oil.
Donald Trump now controls the oil in Venezuela.
Maybe he wants to control the unknown mineral resources of Greenland.
