So the nation has really never healed.
So it continues to continuously go through this constant growth and pain and sorrow.
It seems to be stuck.
We can't get over the racial animosity because we don't have an honest conversation about it.
Because we won't confront our truth.
As we speak right now, September 16th, today's the 18th, two days ago on the cover of the Washington Post, they showed that the removal of this horrific picture of the African-American man that had the whelps on the back of him.
Yep, on his back.
Why is that picture being removed from the African American History Museum?
African American history makes American history hold.
It's not separate and apart.
You cannot have American history without talking about Africans and their role in history.
You can't have American history without talking about it.
Native Americans and their history in the United States.
But we don't seem to want to embrace that and talk about it.
And for what reason, I don't know.
