Anthony Davis goes down, and Atlanta was the team that was actually most connected to him.
And he was one of the big dominoes that could affect the whole trade market.
If he's out, the trade market might actually heat up.
As teams were thinking, like, now there's one big puzzle piece out, and I wonder if other teams now are looking around and being like, well, he's not available, so what else is out there?
Maybe that affects Denver.
Maybe that drives the price up for Peyton Watson, Cam Johnson, any of these guys.
But there are worlds out there where a –
A Nuggets trade could manifest itself, especially if you look at P Watts free agency and say there's no way to keep him.
And especially if other teams are looking at it and willing to part ways with big time players for him.
And I'll give you an example.
I was thinking about this the other day.
Trey Murphy is a great player.
He's kind of like Cam Johnson and Peyton Watson.
He splits the difference a little bit there.
He's obviously not as young, but he has a ready now player who would last all of you.
It's his prime.
is it that crazy to think that the pelicans would want cam johnson and peyton watson for trey murphy and and maybe another piece that could be a slightly playable player isn't it that crazy to think well hold on trey murphy's better than cam maybe that has probably as much upside as peyton watson yes it's only one guy but damn that would be nice to have for the foreseeable future and by the way 24 million dollar contract not that bad yeah
